NICK COOK

Nick Cook, Marietta, GA, turns a variety of work including one-of-a-kind bowls and vessels along with his unique gift items. He teaches at his studio, at universities and craft schools throughout the US, Australia, and New Zealand. A founder and long serving Board member of the AAW, Nick has been featured in many galleries and exhibits. He has also authored many woodturning articles.
 
 
 
 
ASHLEY HARWOOD

Ashley Harwood, Charleston, SC, designs and crafts exquisitely turned, beautifully crafted bowls, as well as jewelry and ornaments made with sea urchins featuring delicate ebony spindles. She is in demand as a demonstrator both domestically and abroad. Her extensive education in the arts contributes to her many awards and exhibits.
 
 
 
 
ROBERTO FERRER

Roberto Ferrer, Chicago, IL, highly creative and inspired by images from his native Mexico, Roberto creates colorful and textured wall hangings and beautiful bowls. He was surrounded by art and crafts from an early age and he started carving sculptural bowls and vessels in his mid-twenties. In recent years he's received many awards, demonstrated around the world and his work has been showcased at multiple symposiums.
 
 
 
 
HELEN BAILEY

Helen is a woodturner from Newcastle Upon Tyne in the North East of England. Helen’s work has received many accolades already in her short career. One of Helens first pierced pieces was selected with other prestigious work for a touring exhibit of the UK. The American association of woodturners has also featured Helens work in its magazine. Helen has recently been accepted onto the register of professional turners in the UK and as Helens career has catapulted her into the limelight in a very short time, the demand for Helen to demonstrate is very high. And with worldwide attention being gained for her amazing creations, Helens work is sought after by individuals and collectors all over the world.
 
 
 
MATT MONACO

As a gifted woodturner, Matt has dedicated his craft to producing the highest quality wood-turned products for collectors, the trades, and all people who value the functionality, warmth and timeless beauty of hand turned wooden decor in their daily lives. Matt's connection to nature, plus 18 years of experience turning wood has allowed him the opportunity to explore the rigors of developing a skill that translates the splendor of trees in a way that offers his craftsmanship to collectors, select gallery buyers, and installations for interior designers.

- Demonstrations are scheduled continuously throughout the weekend and will be presented at five seperate locations. -
 
- Most featured demonstrators will repeat their presentations so that attendees can avoid scheduling conflicts. -
